Review Policy
**Due to my editing schedule, I will not be accepting as many review requests. Thanks for understanding!**
Please read the following information before submitting your review request.
My favorite genres:
- paranormal and urban fantasy
- YA and New Adult
- fantasy
I only accept print copies for review.
I reserve the right to giveaway (on this site) any print copies received for review, unless requested otherwise by the author/publisher. Due to the high number of review requests that I receive, it is impossible for me to reply to each and every one of them. I will only reply to the requests that I am interested in. If you do not receive an email from me within one week of submission, it is safe to assume that I need to pass on your book at this time. That said, don’t be surprised if I contact you months from now about reviewing your book. Priorities and schedules change, so there is always a chance that I can review it in the future. I am always willing to feature you and your book with guest posts, giveaways, excerpt posts, interviews. Please use “Request a Feature” in the menu at the top of the page if you would like to be featured.
It is important that you realize that my first obligation is to my readers. I provide honest opinions, including negative reviews. I will not pull a review or change the content after it is posted.
I reserve the right to stop reading any book that I do not enjoy. IF this happens, I will post a short blog entry stating why I didn’t like it and how far I got before stopping.
All content on Fade Into Fantasy is copyrighted and owned by me. If you would like to re-post any part of your feature on my site, please include a link back to the post and/or the Fade Into Fantasy site.
I do not guarantee any sort of time frame for a review. If the book submitted is a future release, every effort will be made to post the review around the time of release, but this is NOT guaranteed.
I have no objections to reading/reviewing self published books. If I have the time and the book interests me, then I’ll read it. I might email you to request the first chapter of your book if I’m having trouble deciding whether to review or not.
Feel free to submit a request for backlist books. Older books need love, too!
By submitting your request, you agree that you have read and understand my review policy.
