Man of my dreams!

11-21-2011: Never to be forgotten! Today is the day that Ian Somerhalder responded to me on facebook! Hey, that may not be a big deal for you, but for me.. HUGE. *swoon*

Conversation copied from FB:
ME: Finally! After an hour of searching facebook, I find the REAL you. Hi Ian!

Ian Somerhalder: Thank you.Nice to meet you

ME: My pleasure! Thank you for taking the time to notice. :)

Ian Somerhalder: you're welcome

Ian Somerhalder: I try not to disappoint my fans!

ME: Well, you're doing a wonderful job. :) It's nice (and a bit scary) to talk to someone like you!

ME: lol... (I'm secretly freaking out cuz I got to talk to Ian! *sigh*)

Ian Somerhalder: Thank you Theresa!

ME: lol... you're welcome! Just do me a favor and don't knock when you invade my dreams tonight. The husband probably wouldn't like that. hehe!

Ian Somerhalder: well I will not:)

ME: Perfect! Thanks. LOL

Sunday Status

week of: July 8 – July 14

What I’m Reading:

Last Rite by Lisa Desrochers

I’m actually reading two books right now and loving them both. I’m almost finished with Lisa Desrocher’s LAST RITE, the last of the Personal Demons trilogy. I absolutely LOVE this series and will be sad to see it end. If you haven’t picked these up yet, do it!

Wake by Amanda Hocking

The other book I started is WAKE by Amanda Hocking. This is a different read for me since I have never read anything about water/mermaid/whateveritis (haven’t read far enough to figure it… Continue reading

Armchari BEA: Day 3 – Networking

Armchair BEA

Networking

Surprise, surprise. I don’t have any real life networking stories. I’ve never been to a book signing or bookish event, and I don’t have a need to visit my library since I have about 100 books on my shelf waiting to be read. So, I don’t have any real life networking stories to share. I can say this though…

Online networking in the blogging community has been the best thing that has happened to me in a very long time. It led to the discovery of my career goal, and has provided me with an editing internship (which I’ve… Continue reading

week of: May 21 – May 27

What I’m Reading:

I managed to finish reading one book last week: THE TAKER by Alma Katsu. I LOVED IT. A full review is coming this week! The other two books that I’m still working on are:

Sins of the Son (Grigori Legacy #2) by Linda Poitevin - This is the book that I’m focusing on now that I finished reading THE TAKER. I love Linda’s stories and I’m sure this one will be no different.

Earthseed (Seed #1) by Pamela Sargent - I know,… Continue reading

Hi everyone! With the craziness that April was, I thought a Sunday Status post was definitely in order. :)

Sunday Status

What I’m Reading:

Believe it or not, I haven’t finished even one book in the last month. Yes, I was busy, but you would think that the no internet situation would increase my reading! Actually, it may have, because I started a few new books–just didn’t finish any of them yet. Here’s what I started reading in April:

Sins of the Son (Grigori Legacy #2) by Linda Poitevin - I… Continue reading
