Man of my dreams!

11-21-2011: Never to be forgotten! Today is the day that Ian Somerhalder responded to me on facebook! Hey, that may not be a big deal for you, but for me.. HUGE. *swoon*

Conversation copied from FB:
ME: Finally! After an hour of searching facebook, I find the REAL you. Hi Ian!

Ian Somerhalder: Thank you.Nice to meet you

ME: My pleasure! Thank you for taking the time to notice. :)

Ian Somerhalder: you're welcome

Ian Somerhalder: I try not to disappoint my fans!

ME: Well, you're doing a wonderful job. :) It's nice (and a bit scary) to talk to someone like you!

ME: lol... (I'm secretly freaking out cuz I got to talk to Ian! *sigh*)

Ian Somerhalder: Thank you Theresa!

ME: lol... you're welcome! Just do me a favor and don't knock when you invade my dreams tonight. The husband probably wouldn't like that. hehe!

Ian Somerhalder: well I will not:)

ME: Perfect! Thanks. LOL

Things that make me think… & Follow Friday

Hosted by Hosts {Parajunkee & Alison Can Read}

Q: What book would you love to see made into a movie or television show and do you have actors/actresses in mind to play the main characters?

English: Ian Somerhalder at Collectormania in ...

A:  This is a tough question for me. There are so many great books out there to choose from!  I would love to see Hard Spell by Justin Gustainismade into a television series.  Hard Spell was a fun read with tons of action.  Since I’m horrible with keeping up with actors/actresses, I don’t have a preference for those, except… Continue reading

Follow Friday!

TGIF lovelies!  Let’s all hop our way to some great blogs today and have fun doing it :)

Book Blogger Hop

This week’s question isn’t a question at all! I thought I would do things a little differently this week and give all of you a chance to promote a giveaway (or two!) from the blogosphere.

The catch?

IT CAN’T BE YOUR OWN GIVEAWAY!

Gotcha!

You have to find another blogger who is having a giveaway and promote their giveaway for them! If possible, promote a giveaway from a blogger doing the Hop (hey, you are visiting other blogs anyway, right?). Have fun with… Continue reading

Happy Friday, Lovelies!

Woot!  It’s Friday and that means it’s time to follow along with one of my all time favorite bloggers, Parajunkee!  If you don’t follow Rachel already, you are missing out on one of the best blogs I know of.  Go follow her.  Now.  No worries, I’ll wait.

This week’s question:

Q. Genre Wars! What’s your favorite genre and which book in that genre made it your favorite?

A:  Favorite genre?  Easy… everything paranormal.  Which book made it my favorite?  Not so easy. lol  The first paranormal book that I remember reading was Salem’s Lot by… Continue reading

It's Friday, Let's HOP!

Morning, lovelies!  Happy Friday!  Now… let’s do some hopping, shall we?
Book Blogger Hop
Question:  “If I gave you £50 (or $80) and sent you into a bookshop right now, what would be in your basket when you finally staggered to the till?”

Answer:  This is harder than I thought it would be to answer.  I guess since it would be “extra” money, I would probably splurge on a few new releases in hardcover.  Which books those would be, I’m not exactly sure.  I would say “Shadowfever” by KMM, but since I own the rest of the series in paperback, that… Continue reading

Update and Follow Friday

Morning loves!  I’m so sorry that my blogging has become sporadic lately.  My classes started on February 7th, so I’m next deep in text books, and the ebook tours are starting to pick up!  YAY!  Very busy for me, but I promise to try to do better :)
Because of having all this work to do, my reading time has lessened. This makes me sad!  I have to struggle with doing the “have to’s” before doing the “want to’s”.  I have managed to get about half way through Bloodfever by KMM, though.  Look for that review in a few days.
Also, (some… Continue reading

Follow Friday

Well helllllloooo!  Welcome to another Friday Follow hop!  I haven’t done a follow hop in a while, and the question was super interesting this week, so I thought I would partake in the hop happiness today!

The question this week is:

Who do you cheer for?

Now,  I know that this question is probably meant to elicit sports related answers, but I’m not going with that.  Here’s my answer:
I cheer for the shy girl in the corner.  The one who wonders what everyone thinks of her and stops herself from enjoying life because of her fears.  I cheer… Continue reading
