Man of my dreams!

11-21-2011: Never to be forgotten! Today is the day that Ian Somerhalder responded to me on facebook! Hey, that may not be a big deal for you, but for me.. HUGE. *swoon*

Conversation copied from FB:
ME: Finally! After an hour of searching facebook, I find the REAL you. Hi Ian!

Ian Somerhalder: Thank you.Nice to meet you

ME: My pleasure! Thank you for taking the time to notice. :)

Ian Somerhalder: you're welcome

Ian Somerhalder: I try not to disappoint my fans!

ME: Well, you're doing a wonderful job. :) It's nice (and a bit scary) to talk to someone like you!

Quick Update

Lack of time can make you crazy…

Morning all!  I just wanted to write a quick post and let you all know that I’m not ignoring you.  I’m really not!  Some of you probably already know this, but for those of you who don’t, besides working, being an editing intern, and being a mom, I’m also a full time student in Southern New Hampshire University’s online creative writing program.  Classes started last Monday and I’m finding that I barely have enough time for reading my text books, let alone anything for pleasure.

I won’t be stopping my pleasure reading or… Continue reading

News & BLB Book Tour Updates from Theresa (Fade Into Fantasy)

Stressful week

Morning!  The blog has been fairly quiet this week and I apologize for that.  Life has been unusually stressful the last couple of weeks and I had some other things that needed my attention.  Here’s what’s been going on with me:

  • My youngest went to the state little league championship playoffs the weekend before last.  Four days of motels, baseball games, and high stress situations left me totally exhausted and way behind on emails.  I actually came home to over 200 emails that needed attention!  OY!
  • Hubby’s middle son was finally allowed to come home from his mother’s in Mississippi!… Continue reading

Update and BBP conference

Morning pixies!  I know I have been neglecting the blog this week, but I have a very good reason.  I’ve been neck deep in the Book Bloggers and Publishers online conference and OMG am I learning!  Every panel, every panelist, every conversation over there has been so helpful and fun.  If you have never attended one of Terry Kate’s conferences, DO IT.  You will not be sorry!
So… other news.  I have finished reading Unearthly “Unearthly” by Cynthia Hand and will be writing up my review after the conference ends and everything gets back to normal.  I’m still reading Angel Burn “Angel Burn”… Continue reading

I'm Slacking…

Moring, lovelies!  I know that I’ve been slacking in my posts lately, but this USB port issue is driving me insane.  I have been emailing back and forth with a good friend today trying to get it figured out.  That, and the fact that everyone is home for xmas vacation, is really cutting into my reading time.  I can say that I have some great things in the works, and everything should be back to normal next week.
If you haven’t yet, be sure to check out my post about my new idea HERE and fill out this FORM if… Continue reading

Tuesday Ramblings

Hullo, luvlies!  hehehe… I’m kind of at a loss for words today.  I know what you’re thinking.. “you? impossible!”… but it’s true.  My brain feels totally fried from all of the Christmas activities and computer issues that I’ve been dealing with, and I’m still very sad that I cannot move my ebooks to my nook.  VERY sad.  I have tried everything that has been suggested and am now at the point where I will have to wait until January 2nd for the computer place here in town to open back up.  Hopefully, I will be able to come up with… Continue reading

Monday Madness and HELP please??

Oy!  I am so tired from the festivities this year.  We had a wonderful Christmas with the entire family at our house.  Ivan (hubby) cooked a phenomenal dinner with deep fried turkey, mashed potatoes, rolls, and all the fixings.  YUM!  Everyone got presents that they really wanted, so there were no trips to the stores to exchange anything, and our house was overflowing with love.  All in all, a great celebration!
While the family was here, my FIL tried for hours to fix my computer.  He left thinking that he had been unsuccessful, but when I came to the computer… Continue reading
